ASL Adventures Schedule:
7pm to 9 pm Monday to Friday
3pm to 5pm Saturdays and Sundays
Pick the day of the week that best suits you, your instructor will contact you with locations for your course and lastly have fun!
"Out and About"
This course will take learners out into the community using sign language reflective of that particular environment. As an example, sessions may include a trip to the zoo, restaurant, movie, sporting event or social gathering.*
Duration: 5 weeks/2hours Cost: $150
*associated costs involved are the responsibility of the participant, i.e. admission price, tickets, food purchases, etc.
"Playtime"
The best way to learn something is to make it fun and that is our number one goal! In this session, we will incorporate learning games which will help you develop strategies to retain concepts and better understand numbers, handshapes, space and classifiers.
Duration: 4 weeks/1hour Cost: $80

"Naughty and Not-so-Nice"
There are a number of ways to use swear words and a great number of ways to talk about sex. In this course we will explore how to use these signs depending on the conversation and the heat of the moment thru ranges of emotion. Keep in mind ASL is a visual language and throughout the course may be very graphic. Please be advised mature subject matter will be openly discussed.
Duration: 5 weeks/1hour Cost: $150
"Intro to Sign Language"
Always wished you could just say hi or spell your name to that Deaf person you see at your work, church or team. We wish you could too. ASL Adventures mission is to make our city the most accessible one so if you have ever thought about learning another language, now is the time. You will learn eveyday conversation, fingerspelling, numbers and basic grammar of American Sign Language.
Duration: 6 weeks/2hours Cost: $200
ASL is beautiful but to be able to have an array of Deaf influenced projects to create will make the learning experience that much more memorable. Terri is a gifted artist who has a passion for scrapbooking to card making to designing elegant trinkets that you can cherish all for your own or share with those special people in your life for many occasions. She will instruct and guide you to making wonderful momentos that will truly get people talking*
Duration: 6 weeks/2hours Cost: $120
*some materials will be provided and others may need to be purchased by participant. Terri will forward you a materials list and course outline prior to start date.

“Tutoring Sessions”
Tutoring is available via your webcam or in person and your tutoring session will be customized to best suit your needs.
